First Unitarian Church of Baltimore

Our Denomination

First Unitarian Church of Baltimore is part of the Unitarian Universalist Association, a religious organization that combines Unitarianism and Universalism.  Currently, there are more than 1,000 UU congregations in the U.S., Canada and around the world.  While these congregations enjoy polity and therefore govern themselves, they can also benefit from participating in the larger fellowship, which can provide services that are otherwise unavailable.  Each congregation is also part of one of 19 districts, and First Unitarian is associated with the Jospeh Priestley District.
