Celebration Of Life "Labor In The Pulpit" ( 11:00 am - 12:00 - noon )
Labor Day is celebrated not only as a day away from work, but as a time to acknowledge the dignity of labor, and to hear the stories told by working people who seek recognition for all they give to our society. A representative from Maryland chapter of Interfaith Worker Justice will share central concerns of the labor movement for the ensuing year.

Celebration Of Life -- Ingathering Of Waters ( 11:00 am - 12:00 - noon )
"The Blue Boat that Carries Us on the Journey"

A full morning! The Board of Trustees serve a Pancake Breakfast for everybody; then we gather on the front porch of our historic Sanctuary to proclaim aloud our commitment to Baltimore and her concerns. We sing and march into the Sanctuary carrying water gathered from our summer journeys, and mingle the waters in honor of our blue-green Mother Earth and all she holds.
All are encouraged to wear the colors of water for our ingathering service!

Celebration Of Life ( 11:00 am - 12:00 - noon )
The Jewish Days of Awe provide a time of communal and self-reflection about the lives that we live. Members of ethical and spiritual communities like ours confess our belief that we have a great potential for righteousness. We begin a series of services which highlight some of the stories of the Hebrew Bible and Christian Testament that are sources for our liberal religious faith.
This is the first Sunday of our “Religious Education for Everyone” Program at 9:30 a.m. Come a few minutes early to find your class and meet your teachers.
