Celebration Of Life--Make It Happen ( 11:00 am - 12:15 - pm )
Kathleen Flahive and Melissa Feliciano
International Women’s Day
Finding inspiration in the stories of women who accomplished great things in their lives, we see affirm that Unitarian Universalist values are about the lives we lead and the world that we are building together. How can we make things happen for women in today’s world?
Special music by the Margaret Fuller Ensemble.

Celebration Of Life--Days When Hope Unborn Had Died ( 11:00 am - 12:15 - pm )
We draw lessons from our commemoration of the events in Selma in 1965, and state again that #BlackLivesMatter and #EveryPersonIsSacred. James Luther Adams told a powerful story about the need for the church in times when the world needed the strength to change. In part, he saw that people who see themselves as relatives bring a special measure of the heart to things that challenge their clan. How shall we live? How will this church live into its third century of liberal and liberating spirituality?

Celebration Of Life--Spring’s Bright Promise ( 11:00 am - 12:15 - pm )
We sit together for a quiet hour, and welcome the warmth that is wakening the interconnected web of existence of which we are a part. A morning of quiet music and meditation. An invitation to start something new.

Celebration Of Life--Triumphalism And Humility ( 11:00 am - 12:15 - pm )
The Christian story says Jesus rode into Jerusalem and the crowds celebrated his entrance as if he were a conqueror. Listeners find this a moment of profound irony and challenge. Religious progressives today face a similar challenge—in a society that is increasingly poised to rule the whole world, are we chaplains of the Empire, or does our faith call us to be Prophets of Resistance? Read a little Bible, watch a little Star Wars, and come to church.
