Registration begins for our Religious Education Program for Children and Youth

Fall is on the horizon and our Religious Education program for Children and Youth is just around the corner. Families who have not registered for our program before can do so online here or by printing a paper copy of our form here and bringing it to church with you.

We are excited about some changes in the format of RE classes for children this year once the program gets started September 16. The first Sunday of each month will be a “Service Sunday,” featuring service projects for children in 6th grade and younger to help us all learn how to use our helping hands for good. Also once-a-month, we will have “Celebration Sundays,” a time for age-appropriate worship for children, providing a regular time and space for faith development and spiritual growth within our supportive community. The rest of our Sundays will feature lessons on aspects of Unitarian Universalist Identity in three different age groups: Sprouts (preschool-Kindergarten), Explorers (1st-2nd grades), and Questers (3rd-6th grades). Volunteers are still needed! To find out more about how you can be involved, check out our opportunities form online here, or contact Director of Lifespan Religous Education, Becky Brooks.

For more information, our Religious Education Program brochure is available online. You can also find our dynamic online calendar here

See you in church!
