Each Sunday, our congregation gathers for a Celebration of Life. This service includes meditative music and drumming, readings and singing, time for candle lighting, and an offering. Most weeks, one or more speakers will deliver a sermon or other message.

We arrive at church in a diversity of attire! Some wear their “Sunday best,” others wear “business casual,” and some people dress comfortably in casual clothes. A few minutes before 11:00 o’clock, we enter the Sanctuary to the beat of quiet drumming. There all are invited to center their hearts and minds. Our service features music from pipe organs, a grand piano, and choir. Guest instrumentalists and vocalists often share their gifts with us.

The service is an opportunity for families to be together. A children’s corner with coloring books and other materials is available for children who need a little space of their own. A nursery is also available for the youngest ones.

During the summer months, services are held in Enoch Pratt Parish Hall, where the setting is more intimate and we hope the temperature is cooler.

Don’t miss our Fellowship Hour in Pratt Hall after each service—a time to meet new people and touch base with old friends. It is also a chance to learn more about our congregation and to tell us more about yourself. One the first and third Sundays, tours of our historic sanctuary are offered.
